Omaha, somewhere in the middle of America

I have to hurry really fast and write this before the internet becomes unconnected again. The nice thing about writing on here is I can write the entire thing, and then just connect the internet just long enough to post pictures and publish it. Only fallback? This post will be pretty must just pictures.

My family is taking part in the Mormon Nauvoo Pageant in Nauvoo, Illinois this week. We just arrived in Nauvoo after driving for three days. We made a couple of tourist stops along the way, first at a cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska where a bunch of our ancestors are buried. Next at the Winter Quarters Temple and visitors center. Finally we are here in Illinois.

The main attraction of our drive: corn.
Our road trip theme song: Omaha by Counting Crows.
Omaha, somewhere in the middle of america.
Get right to the heart of matters, it's the heart that matters more.

Downtown Omaha was so great. The old market is all brick, little lights, and great food. The pictures really don't capture it's lovliness.

Two places at once

So long, until I get my internet back.
