My Camera & I

Idk here are some of those pictures for you to see, because I said I would post them.

Honestly, that shoot helped me realize what I DON'T want to do with my camera, instead of the opposite. I already knew I'm not a "ok lets get this whole big family perfectly positioned for this picture" or a "goo goo gaga just please smile for me baby" kind of photographer. And during this shoot I realized I am also not the "lets set up random pictures that make no sense just because they ""look cool""" type of person either. 

I just want to document a life time of adventures, real emotional human experiences, kindred spirits, and pretty things.  

A Beautiful Funeral

This morning I went to a beautiful funeral. My friend Marohn's little 5yo brother was killed in a boating accident last Friday. The funeral was full of strength and testimony and light, because they understand that Keaton's mission on this earth was completely fulfilled, and they will see him again, once their missions are fulfilled as well.

Just a couple weeks ago Marohn was sending me cute pictures of her brother, and I was sending pictures of my little brother Canon, in return.

Her little brother went back to live with Heavenly Father, mine is still with me.

I'm gonna go hug him for the millionth time now.
